A typical shooting day spans 8 hours with a dedicated crew of 2-3 individuals, segmented into three distinct phases. The subsequent phase is devoted to capturing video portrait shots of the subject across various locations of your home, encompassing both composed and spontaneous moments. These visuals serve to enrich the storytelling with added depth and emotional resonance. Finally, we meticulously document your environment, encapsulating the intricacies of your personality, hobbies, interests, and cherished memories embodied in the surroundings of your home. Additional shooting days may be required if multiple interview segments are needed.

For individuals outside of Long Island who are interested in our services, we are happy to explore travel arrangements for us to come to you! Please note that our travel is not included in your chosen package and will be subject to additional fees. While we prefer to meet with you and capture your story in our style, alternatively, we can coordinate with a local film crew in your area to capture the required footage for us to edit, if it proves to be a more cost-effective solution. Either way, our aim is to ensure that your project is completed with the same high quality, attention, and standards as our local customers, while seeking the most efficient and economical approach.

You will have the opportunity to cancel for a full refund of your down payment, consisting of 50% of the total cost of your project due at contract signing, up until 3 days prior to your scheduled shooting day.

You are not financially responsible for the included digitization service regardless of whether you have footage to digitize or not. We have included our base digitization service (up 4 VHS Tapes and/or 8mm & Super 8mm film reels) in each package at no additional cost as part of the fixed base price in order to encourage and motivate you to utilize these services if you have relevant video materials available. This helps to ensure that we have an ample supply of material to work with, enabling us to create visually captivating and engaging elements that will elevate and enhance your story.

While we encourage sharing and featuring your film on our website and social channels, we also want to respect your privacy. Please be aware that you will be required to sign a release form during the initial contract agreement, which gives us permission to use your film on our social channels, website, marketing materials and promotions.
